I'd like to give the review in two parts: Leading up to the event, and the event itself.
Leading up to the event: 2.5 stars.
Heidi is obviously very experienced and has a breadth of knowledge in the industry, so we did appreciate her guidance and suggestions; however, her technique in planning and collaborating with the customer is abrasive and pushy. If we told her what we wanted and she didn't think it was a good idea, she would let us know. I think we know ourselves better than she does. So the customer service was not that great in the planning phase, and we were planning from out of state and I would have to reach out to her several times to get a response about questions we had. Even trying to figure out final payment to ensure that the check was received by her due date was difficult to organize with her.
The event itself: 4 stars.
Some of the food was great, just like we had tested, and some of it was not at all the same quality. However, the service was 6 stars. It was like they weren't even there except when you really needed them to be visible. They were very professional and courteous and they helped my wedding to be pretty much perfect.
Overall I would probably not use Heidi's again. It seemed like we were an annoyance to Heidi and it was just too much work and stress to make sure our questions were answered and in a timely manner.
