  • This hotel is a hidden gem, just outside of Phoenix. I came to the area to see the financial Gawd Dave Ramsey and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. First of all - if you're going to book a hotel, it should be a Hampton Inn, because the quality is terrific across the board and they give you the ultimate hook-up on the way out with a massive breakfast that is part continental and part buffet. You will have your choice of Special K, pastries, Waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt, sausage links, etc. If you leave this breakfast hungry then there is something wrong, because they have something for everyone. Our room was really nice. It was a semi-suite with a small bar area with a refrigerator and sink, a couch and a couple of chairs. The bedding was really nice, with one of those hypo-allergenic comforters and the carpeting was so squishy that you didn't get that squeamish feeling like everyone on the planet has walked in your room and ground something into the carpet that may have been squishy 20 years ago. The front desk and hotel staff were very pleasant and were very helpful during our stay. My only complaint was that I only booked 1 night. This Hampton Inn is a must for my next trip to the area!
