  • Like Crack for Yuppies! THE UP-SIDE: A trendy little store that sells super-healthy smoothies. If you're looking for a tasty smoothie with tons of protien, or other goodness, check this place out! THE DOWN-SIDE: The prices here are just outrageous. For a large "Power Smoothie" it costs over $6.50! And, while I'm sure that Robeks corporate will attempt to justify that cost with all kinds of jabber about costly wholesome ingredients, etc, I just don't buy it. This place feels like it is absolutely designed to siphon yuppie dollars. Were it designed a little more sensibly, the Power Smooties would come in around $4.50 for a large; at the most. THE SUM-IT-UP: This place definitely has healthy smoothies, but it will cost you one healthy arm and a leg to get one. Save your cash and go to "Liquid Planet" instead. They offer the same type smoothies at less cost, and they have far superior food to offer. Robeks is like crack for yuppies. Unless you're a soccer mom, out about town with the kiddies while your suit-n-tie hubby pulls in the cash, stay away from here.
