| - One of the best buffets here in Vegas. You have variety which is important to us! We went here for lunch and we were glad we gave it a try regardless of the lines.
We called ahead to see if seafood was offered at lunch they said no only at dinner. We almost were not going to give it a shot because of this but we are glad we did because the receptionist was thankfully wrong! There were crab claws, large shrimp, mussels, and ceviches. No snow crab at lunch but that's OK we enjoyed the others.
We tried everything from every section. The highlights for us were the pork belly tapas style dish, the claws, the meat selections, the sushi (which we eat all the time at our favorite local spot) the salmon was especially yummy, the burger slider with the bacon jam, the remoulade sauce, and believe it or not the truffle mushroom soup is a MUST. I want more just thinking about it. They also had exotic fresh juices, and horchata. The desserts were good but our favorite is the creme brulee and molten chocolate cake very decadent.
The service was great our waitress was kind and pleasant and our dishes were kept on top of. Some dishes didn't have as much flavor so that is why the 4 instead of five stars. The shrimp and grits could have been more flavored and the grits cooked longer, and I was looking for some horseradish cream for my meat but could not find it. Some of the Italian dishes were not the greatest. But these are things I can overlook for a buffet with mostly great food and great service. We would come again and we have tried alot of Buffet's on the strip and usually leave unsatisfied until this one. Give it a try! Just be prepared to wait awhile and skip the dinner price go at lunch for a cheaper meal.
