I've never had strong feelings about this particular Starbucks until today.
My husband and I pulled up to the drive thru, placed our order and then waited. And waited. And waited. We were third in line and didn't move forward once. 10 minutes later I got out of the car, walked into the store and asked what was going on. The girls said there was a mistake with the order for the car who was sitting at the window the entire time (while chatting with one of the baristas while the rest of us sat around wondering what was happening) and that they had just finished it up. Really? What could the person possibly have ordered that took 10 effing minutes to correct? Did you have to go out back, harvest and roast the beans because she needed some special process? You couldn't have said "I'm sorry for the mistake, could you please just park in one of these two spots and when your order is ready we'll bring it out to you"? None of the 5 staff members I saw thought maybe they should get the prepared drinks (that were getting cold!) to the other people waiting? Incredibly poor judgement, and terrible customer service. I paid for my order inside then took our drinks back to my car and drove away so angry I was shaking. No one offered any real apology or anything to make up for the inconvenience. I'm incredibly dissatisfied and will not be going back to this location.
