rev:text	This was my third year staying at this resort and while it doesn't give off that hip and modern feel, I really enjoy my stay. Every time I arrive, there's someone there to greet me, open my door, and offer to assist with bags. I've traveled with golf clubs and the bell men have been more than accommodating with assisting with my clubs as well as providing transportation to and from the adjacent McCormick Ranch golf course. The front desk staff is very quick and friendly. They offer text message serving for room needs. I had a small issue with a refrigerator and within minutes I had a new one. There are several room options. I've had the king bed and two queen bed room options as well as a stay in one of their villa with a full kitchen and living space. Rooms have always been spacious and clean with the staff maintaining their upkeep in a timely fashion. I especially love the gym. It's not anything special but I feel as though I can still get a full workout while on vacation. Oh the pool... it's my favorite place to be. The sun in Scottsdale shines bright and beautifully and their pool is quite the place to hang to start your summer tan. Staff walks around offering food and drink, which I've used a couple times, and have been greeted with nothing but friendliness and quick service. I've visited for work conferences so I've had the opportunity to see their venue services. The quality of the foods are great, the rooms are comforting for seminars, and the transformation of their great rooms to galas are great. Second favorite part of this resort... walking around at night. The lighting is magnificent. They provide inspiration to decorate for your yard. The string lights are gorgeous and the lights on the trees put me in awe as I walk around. The bar and lounge areas are beautifully done as well. Their food offerings are plentiful and delicious. I'm especially fond of the fire pit area next to the golf course. It's a great place to hang late in the evening. My visit to the Phoenix area next year will unfortunately take me to Glendale so I have high expectations of the next resort/hotel I visit. McCormick Ranch certainly set the bar high!
