  • I bought wood from PB in Fall 2014 (pecan and juniper) and it was fantastic. Delivery was timely, wood was stacked quickly and neatly, and I liked the quality of the wood. I ordered just juniper in Winter 2015, and had the same results, only I found the juniper alone wasn't burning hot enough for my taste (my mistake). So I went and picked up some pecan midway through the burn season. The pecan hissed and steamed when burnt, which I read creates creosote buildup in the chimney. I don't think it was fully seasoned. This year I plan to purchase wood in the fall.
