  • Roots is akin to Gap. They sell basic clothes (sweatshirts, tops, pants etc.). Olympic followers will remember that the Canadian team in the Winter Games all wore gear with the word Roots on it. Since I was in Canada, of course, I'd have to get something from Roots as a souvenir for family. The store is neatly arranged. They have really cute kids clothes. I got a denim dress set for our niece at a great price. Also scored a sweatshirt for the Kid. Regular priced clothes are a bit high (just like Gap!) but sales prices are reasonable.
