I live in the CH area and as much as I would like to say I go here often, that would be a lie. Every time I drive by there is always a movie I want to see but lack the time to head in unfortunately. Fortunately though I have had the chance to catch a lot of movies there that I wouldn't anywhere else. Go there around Oscar time (or three months before) and you're likely to see the flicks nominated for all the biggest awards. The theaters themselves have been left to what they originally were and albeit lack the vastness of those of the larger theaters but there is something nice about that to me. Even though the screen doesn't blow your mind and the seats are small and can be uncomfortable (esp in a 3-hour flick) the history that remains within the walls is something priceless. It is truly a hidden gem in the Heights.
