Update...got a personal call from the general manager to ensure the ring was taken care of. This was unexpected, but it was great to know that diamonds direct did put a lot of personal attention to fixing the issue. Got the ring back and it is flawless.
Good experience with sales staff, but lack of attention and care with service after the purchase.
I bought the engagement ring for a fairly large amount of money. The sale was very pleasant.
However after the sale, the service aspect was very frustrating. We needed the ring to be resized from a 5.5 to a 6. The service staff said that they can only do .5 resizes in house for the ring that I have.
The ring came back 6.25 with bent edges and a missing diamond!! We had them re do it because we needed it for the wedding.
After the wedding, we had them re size it to 6 like we originally asked for. It came back bent and misshaped. We have them shipping back to the ring producer to fix it.
For a purchase this large, how can they possibly have such awful maintenance process?
