Owner of a La Canadienne Boots I bought 3 years ago for 395$+, I am really disappointed.
As a previous review mentionned, I chose La Canadienne boots because I wanted to support a local business and have winter quality boots, as I thought that a Montreal company should known their own weather right? Big mistake!
First, after one year, a the boots material starts ripping off on the top even though I followed the instructions of washing them with a soft clothes and only water. I believe the salt were the major cause of that but again for 400$+ boot made by a Montreal company, I expected much better...
Also, they were no longer waterproof after one year, and didn't seem to be waterproof since the beginning.
Now they are gone, since they are no waterproof anymore and there are too many holes on the materials.
I am really disappointed, and just recently got a pair of Sorel boots for 125$ that seems much better fit for the winter than the 400$ boots I got at La Canadienne.
