  • This place charges $1/page for local faxes & $1.50 for long distance. I came in with a fax to a TOLL FREE NUMBER and they insisted on charging me $1.50 a page even though it cost them nothing more than a local fax. When I protested he tried to explain that there is wear & tear on the machine and he recently had a big repair bill. I said that local faxes would cause just as much wear & tear as long distance but they still get charged $1. He refused to charge less, I needed the fax to get out and I paid $30 for what should have cost $20. On top of all that, they charge for the cover letter AND fax confirmation at - that's right - $1.50 a page even though the confirmation page isn't part of the transmission!! Nobody else does this. And nobody else has customer service as slow as this place. I can understand when a fax place charges extra when their costs are higher but their costs would NOT be higher with a toll-free #. And considering they probably have unlimited long distance there are probably no extra costs, just an extra excuse to rip customers off. If there's any way you can avoid using this place I advise that you do so.
