  • Planet Fitness at 5404 Central recently took over the space Blast Fitness, and before that Bally's Fitness. I had been a member of Bally's for 18 years then Blast when they took over. I stopped in to inquire about their rates. The smart arse behind the desk was very unprofessional and flip and did not seem at all interested in accommodating me. Perhaps because I was not a 20 something hot bod, who knows. Anyway, his demeanor was appalling and he even cut me off and had a discussion with another employee in the midst of our conversation whereas I just walked out. I cannot speak for the cleanliness or any other aspects of this place but the first impression was not an impression, such a shame as I would have like to have signed up because it's 1/2 mile from my house.
