We bought an $1100 system on December 18th online as they had a promotion. They charged our credit card that day and we were given an expected delivery date of Dec 25th. Now I realize this was Christmas day, so we figured it would be out in the next couple of days. Well, every day we kept checking and it still showed the item in the warehouse, and every day the expected shipping date was a day later. This went on for 2 1/2 weeks in which time we tried calling, emailing and even opened up numerous tickets, to no avail. Finally I thought this was very odd to get no response and was concerned, so I googled Lorex reviews and went on facebook and was immediately nervous. We should have known better and done our homework before hand... so I filed a complaint with Paypal and cancelled the order and finally we got a response and got our credit card refunded. But why? Why is the customer service so crappy with this company?? We were very disappointed because we had been looking forward to getting this system but after seeing all the trouble people are having with theirs here it is just as well. Now to try and find a better system with better customer service!
