Made another trip to Vegas and had to check out some more of their local Dim Sum. People raved about Yum Cha so I had to check it out for myself.
The staff was friendly which is always nice. To be fair I showed up there on a Thursday at 2:30pm which means this may have had some bearing on what was on offer. It was okay. I was going to snap a photo of what I ordered but it just didn't taste as bad as it looked. So that didn't seem fair. I ordered shrimp with black , spare ribs, shu mai and shrimp with chive. Nothing was bad but the shu mai was old like it had been sitting for a while.
Listen this spot is clearly a favorite with the locals. It's large, clean and there's a great market across the street. Here's the take away. Visit Yum Cha on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I truly believe that their rush hours are different. I'm curious enough to visit on my next trip. So far K & J is the best in Vegas by my experience. I ate there at 3 on a Monday and it was fantastic!
