I had three experiences with Diver Supply and all are bad.
1. Tank rental
- Returned a rental tank and got a voicemail a few days later stating I never returned the tank. I called back, was put on hold for 5 minutes and told in a snotty tone that they would check again. Never heard anything back.
2. Regulator work
- Dropped regulator bundles off to get hoses replaced. Had questions for the service tech, who wasn't onsite at time of drop, and was suppose to get a call back regarding my questions. Was told they would be done "for sure" In one week. Never got a call from service tech and when I called a week later to check on the status the girl on the phone put me on hold and when she came back didn't have a clue what was going on, only that they were not on the completed rack so not done yet. I told her I was coming to get them and when I arrived She gave them back, but was extremely short with me and never apologized for not meeting the promise date. Almost like she didn't care if the store got my business or not. They will not from now on.
3. Online order
- This was not the store but internet sale from Diver Supply. My wife ordered a pair of fins, and was sent a response a day later that the manufacturer discontinued the item and the order was canceled. She bought the fins somewhere else. Then a week later she gets an email with tracking number from diver supply saying her fins were on the way. Credit card charged and now she has to return them before we get our money back. They messed up but still have our money. Funny how that works.
Bottom line is I tried to support a local shop and they let me down. I won't be back. I would suggest you hire more service techs and less floor people standing around.
For Internet sales I will stick with Leisure Pro, dealt with them a lot and all good experiences.
