Today was another long day. After my friends' wedding ceremony, we planed to drop by New Balance on Danforth. New Balance is one of few brands that carry WIDE shoes, so this was the place for me to go :) Now you guys can tell that I have an issue with my feet. I stand and walk all day so I really need comfortable shoes that can support my feet. New Balance is a brand of shoes I trust. However, it's still hard to say if ALL STYLES of New Balance are good for everyone (or even me). It really depends on HOW TO you choose the right shoes for the right work. If you choose the right ones, it will serve you best!
Today we were here looking for new comfy walking shoes. We need good ones that can support a long walk around the city. Sometime it's nicer to walk around the city than taking the TTC or a car. We spent a lot of time in the store. We tried many shoe styles and different sizes. Our salesperson 'Nicolas' (haha :D I got his name from his name tag) was attentive and helpful. He always smiled and was very funny. When he was helping us, he also tried to take care of other customers if he had a chance. We were ok with that because we were trying many shoes on. Unfortunately they weren't carrying the sizes of both shoes I wanted (I liked 2 different styles). So he offered to bring those shoes from another store/ and the warehouse for me to try them on tomorrow. We didn't want to come back another day to pick them up so we ordered them to be delivered to our house. They have a delivery service with free shipping within Ontario. It suits us!
PS. The funny thing during the shopping was I choked when I was drinking my coffee. Nicolas tried to get me water. He talked to another staff maybe asking if he could get me water? However, he apologized that he couldn't get it for me because they didn't have a paper cup (--")
At least he offered and tried to get it. I appreciated! (and was embarrassed at the same time :P)
