We came here with a plan to see Joe Greshecky after dinner. That didn't happen (should have gone to another entrance and up the stairs but went downstairs to another band by accident... mediocre at best).... but that's not about the food. We were pleasantly surprised by our meal. I ordered a glass of cabernet and they said they were out and brought me a taste of another that I didn't care fie... suddenly they found a bottle of the one I'd originally ordered. Not sure what was going on there--maybe trying to get rid of a less good wine. Still.. the one I ended up with was good so I'll move onto the food. We shared the "tots" topped with onions, meat, and cheese... half expecting it to be gross but it was really tasty and -- compared to expectations-- not nearly as heavy as expected. The real winner was the "build your own Mac and cheese" which was delicious Mac and cheese which we to p ed with bavon, tomatoes, and fried Brussels sprouts. Really good. Some hummus and veggies brought the richness down to round it out. Is this the best food ever? Probably not... but a great spin on bar food and a fun menu.
