It was the first time I had ventured that far up in Lawrenceville. Met a friend around 5 pm when the venue opens for a drink to catch up. The venue is small and it was quiet since it was still early.
I thought it was cool that they had "wine cocktails." I got the giggle water after hearing good things about it from my fellow yelpers. It was very yummy, but I thought a bit small for the price ($9). The presentation of the cocktail was nice though. My friend got the try two rose wines, which she liked. As a snack we got olives, which I surprisingly liked (I usually don't like olives). They were more salty and less pungent. We also got the "Sleeper Plate" which had delicious pumpernickel bread. The menu says "boozy apricots" but they weren't that boozy to my palate. The serving was a bit small for the price.
All in all, this is definitely a cool place. Although I am making remarks about the price to serving ratio, I do acknowledge that this is pretty standard for places here. I do think there are happy hours in the city that afford better deals (especially for students, like me!)
