  • Red rocket... red rocket. Isn't there a lyric or a band having to do with rockets? Insert that witty comparison here. And not the Chris Brown "Love Rocket" lyrics either. He beats women. No like. What I DO like however, is Red Rocket Coffee and their awesome staff. And, yes, the cookies. I enjoyed (read: inhaled) the cookie trio today, and man, was it good. For a solid $3, you can enjoy a cute sampling of mini cookies from Red Rocket. I think I had an iced tea to go with, however, that's irrelevant right now. You know when you feel socially awkward buying tampons or condoms or something personal of the like from the drug store, and you round up a bunch of "distraction" items to make it seem less obvious? That's me, at various cafes around town, buying cookies and so on to make it seem as if I need them to go with my coffee. I hardly ever need, per se, the coffee, but hell, that cookie better get with me come hell or high water. And, let me tell you, did Red Rocket ever hit the spot. These little ones were soft and tasty, with the right amount of texture and sweetness. The portion size was perfect too. Now, only if I did have a coffee to go with, that would have really been perfect. But now, that I know about these, maybe next time the java will be a legit purchase.
