  • Joined them back in the day, years ago . They may get you a spot here and there as an extra or an extra for a commercial. Major films will include extra work that is normally grunt work - - ie in AZ Summer Sun for about 12 hours for The Kingdom @ $50 a day. This is what is expected of non-union work well $64/ 8 hours but enough of that. They post every other day on Craigslist, which is very aggravating to know how many people get excited when reading the opportunities that await them. Many companies use these shady practices....however, the worst part is they sell you their photographer very bluntly and forcefully. They advice against going to another photographer. Being young and Naive I feel for the trap only to have professional photos taken by a 22 year old with no business taking headshots whatsoever. Poses with a chair, and the "thinking man" along other classic poses such as the one foot on the wall lean. Enough of that, the finished product was horrid and expensive.....Want the copies to print them else where? Well that was not an option back then, you had to get your copies through them. Again not the most recent review as this was 5+ years ago....but still don't like their marketing tactics and hidden costs.
