  • If you have little kids (6 and under) and are debating whether to go to Cowabunga Bay or Wet 'n Wild, Cowabunga Bay by far is better for kids. First, the water is not as cold as it is at Wet N Wild. Next you can actually lounge in the water in the kid area while your kids go on the slides. Also, the wave pool seems more spread out and creates better waves than at Wet N' Wild. The lazy river is better as well since they also have an area where you can just lounge in. Better overall vibe = Cowabunga Bay. As far as the slides go, I prefer the slides at Wet N Wild to Cowabunga bay. The Desert Racers (rainbow slide) is way better than surfin' USA. Most people can't even make it pass the last hump on it. The only slide At cowabunga bay thats really different than any other at Wet N Wild is Zuma Zooma. Better Slides = Wet N Wild. The food is what you would expect at any attraction similar to this one. They have your typical menu of cheeseburger, chicken fingers, pizza, hot dog, fries, etc. Food = Same. We live on the southwest side and are closer to Wet N Wild (Note: we had season passes to Wet n wild in the past), but choose to drive the extra distance and pay the extra dollars to get season passes here. The wife and kids enjoy it more, and the ambience and surfer beach vibe is better here.
