Ate Dinner here around 6pM on a sunday night. Line was a little long, for 3 people wait was around 30min.
It seems they do take reservations.
Not sure why people are saying this is the best tonkatsu in town.
The serving sizes were LARGE with dishes around 12-17$ depending on you meat choice.
Pork Tonkasu was dry and not seasoned at all. The meat had no seasoning and it def needed salt.
My favorite part is the smashing and grinding the sesame seeds and adding the sauce!!! So much fun, idk why! Guess even as adults we like to play with our food
My other concern with the place was the curry consistency. It was kinda watery and not thick and if you look at the photos, the curry has about 2 pieces about potato and 2 pieces of carrots.
Other than that the service was ok, very friendly especially the manager.
Hawaiian music atmosphere!
