Asians, Asians and more Asians. I'm Asian too so plus 1 to the super large crowd. The place opened at 7pm on a Friday night and I got there around 7:20pm and it was already packed. I don't really like crowed places so I guess I wouldn't really fair well in an actual Asian country. Born and raised in Canada so and that's what I'm use to.
There were a lot of different vendors but none that really caught my eye. It seemed like all the food offerings were some kind of skewer.
Tried some Malaysian chicken skewers 5 pieces for $10. Came with some cucumbers and peanut sauce. Meat was tender and portions were pretty good. I really liked it.
Chatime was available. Got my usual milk tea with pudding. $5 for large.
Also got some squid on a stick for $8. I really didn't like it at all. The sauce used to marinate the squid was not to my liking. I really can't describe what it tasted like but I only took one bite.
Parking is available but I decided to park next door at the Nofrills but there was a security guard there stopping people from parking there. Just sneak around him and you're good but park at your own risk.
Just a note for you single guys out there; Asian eye candy was everywhere. I don't even think I needed to point that out. Its a given. LOL
