| - I heard an ad for these guys while listening to the Dodger's game. I gave them a call and asked for the "Sports Radio Special," for an AC tune-up. I know that I also need some other minor work done, so I asked about getting an estimate for that repair when the technician was out to do the tune-up. The appointment was scheduled for about eight days later (first available), with a two hour window for when tech would arrive to my place. On the day of my appointment, exactly an hour before my appointment, the doorbell rang. I was just stepping into the shower, figuring it was salesman or whatever, I ignored it. After my shower, I went to check the front door. There in the screen was a card from Priority AC, with "N/A 1" written on back. I called the dispatcher and told her that the guy had arrived an hour before the scheduled appointment window began. She was very nice, and said she'd send him back right away. Well, I waited around for three and a half hours before someone returned. Wish I woulda just cancelled before waiting, because it was all about the up-sell when tech arrived. They offered, in my opinion, over-priced, "Lifelong AC Filter," service plan, duct cleaning and an acid wash for my condenser, which they don't even hose down during the-tune up. Last year's guys cleaned it off during tune-up. As mentioned, I need some work done (a drain from my evaporation pan), but the guy they sent didn't know anything more than the basics. So he called his boss. In not so many words I was told, too small of a job. Then they tried to sell me a whole new AC unit, even though the tech had just told me that mine is working fine.
