| - Connie T.'s probably right about the ability of PawsWay to survive without a lot of continued funding, but I sure appreciate the fact that such a spot exists NOW. I was probably missing my cats while on holiday and saw a listing in NOW magazine that a 'Meet the Collies' show was going on. Figuring I could pet some doggies, I hustled on over and met some great rough and smooth collies (didn't realize there was a distinction; our childhood dog was a rough collie, like Lassie). Also saw border collies and bearded collies, which resemble sheepdogs. Most of the dogs were Canadian or American champions from various dog shows, and they were calm and very pettable. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, I went the following Saturday for their 'Meet the Sighthounds' show and met some Borzois, Irish wolfhounds, Ibizans, greyhounds, etc. If I lived in Toronto, I'd be here EVERY single weekend: Educational and fun and right on Lake Ontario.
