  • I contacted them and Todd came out and gave me an estimate for a fireplace remodel. I met with him and he took his measurements and gave me an estimate. We then met to pick out the rock and, after waiting a week, he sent me the revised estimate so we were good to go. Jake was sent out to do the final walk through and everything was good, I just needed to contact the office and pay the 1/2 deposit. I tried to call and they sent me an email saying they underestimated and the job was now $1000 more. They did not stick to the final estimate and speaking with other GC's, this was their error and they should have taken the hit, just good business. They would not contact via phone and emailed "we understand you probably lost confidence in us". Uh, yeah. I assume a bigger job came along and this was their way to get rid of me. Never had such an unprofessional experience and the kicker is they are contracted with the VA to do work for them (your tax dollars). As a veteran myself this is disappointing to know. I have all emails to confirm this train wreck and I would be extremely wary of using this place.
