rev:text	I was a patient here back in 2015. I broke my neck and back, never needed surgery just saw them about my injury. I was seeing doctor Kumar. Fast to this year. For the last 3 months I've been having daily migraines. I went to see my PCP but she referred me back to Dr. Kumar. So I call wasn't able to get through so I left a message. I got a call back from a medical assistant named Clarissa and she said to me he's a neurosurgeon and migraine dont sound like you need surgery so you should go see a neurologist. First of all you are a assistant NOT a doctor you don't no what's causing these, I could have a tumor or anything secondly you are not a medical professional to be trying to diagnose me over the phone. So she kept saying if you don't need surgery I'm not scheduling an appointment. I said we'll I was a patient there before and never had surgery so now you're lying to me. And then she was like look I'm not scheduling the appointment. If you get scan then maybe I could schedule but as of today, which is another lie because I didn't get imaging done until like a day before my scheduled appointment back then. I realized I wasn't getting anywhere so I ask for a supervisor and women named Alma got on the phone already hostile. She never let me speak. She was yelling. She said we can't take you as a patient if you don't need surgery. I said how do you guys know if I need surgery OR NOT just by this phone call? She ignored that question and repeated herself. I then again tried to explain again this time she was talking over me. So I match her tone BUT I never cursed or said anything disrespectful and then she said Im not going to take you yelling at me after she been being rude and condescending the entire call and then hung up in my face. NEVER EVER in my life have I delt with this from anywhere let alone a doctors office. I reported it AZ board of medicine. How are these doctors allowing medical assistants who have no real medical knowledge to diagnose and refuse patients OVER THE PHONE. That is ILLEGAL. This has to stop. And Alma is a horrible office manager she NEEDS to be REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. She does not know how to talk to people therefore needs a position where she doesn't communicate with patients. I am furious. You guys don't even understand. Do not go here!!! And Im sure no accountability is going to be held for this situation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTORS OFFICE.
