I have went to this place many times and always come back because the other congee places are not on par with this one. Ordered the CQ5 - King Mushroom and Assorted Fungus on Braised Spinach Thick Noodle. First impression is it seemed small for an $11 dish. This dish eats like Italian Pasta as they sprinkle some grated cheese on top. The mushroom and sauce tasted well together and the noodle has the right amount of softness.
Also had the Dough Fritter Rice Noodle Roll. It's a 'roll' of the dice with this one and I got an old Dough Fritter which I guess had been drying in the air for a long time and has hardened -1 for this.
The other -1 has to do with service. I had to call the wait staff 3 times to finally get my bill. What do I have to do to get them to take my money??
