  • This is by far the worst run Hertz I've dealt with. I'm President's Circle which means I rent all the time and I've used Hertz all over the country for 5 years now. They are often times understaffed, especially when returning a vehicle. NEVER leave without a receipt. If you do they will almost always charge you to fill the tank, even if the tank is full. In my opinion this is a SCAM and they know many people won't see the charge. Thankfully I took a picture of the mileage and fuel level when I returned my car the other day. Also, if you are a President's Circle member don't expect the guaranteed upgrade. They rarely honor that unless you go back to the counter and ask. Even then the service can be poor.
