Humm...hotel needs some work still after upgrade or remodel but was an ok stay. Hotel was nice but very pale inside and out. Needs a little better decor as it was not extravagantly decorated.
Easy find and hotel is close to airport or by MGM, across from Excalibur and NY hotels. Was easy to reserve on Hotel.com but doesn't mean it includes their $34 a day resort fees. At least, that pays for their free parking....haha What a rip off!
Wifi is included in your room only using your last name and room number for up the three electronics. There are three sections to the whole hotel - Paradise Tower, Club Towers and we stayed in the Bungalow. It's a little closer but seems nicer than the other sections our relatives were staying in. We paid for a balcony but balcony from a second floor? It was an ok view of the parking lot or loading dock. A nice big sliding door made the room bright. At least, you can see Excalibur and a little part of NY NY hotel.
We got to our room and there was a musky smell but we put the AC on and it went away. The size of the room was angled so it was a decent size. There was a lot of plugs but some of the plugs didn't work! The side table plugs were for 120volt? Really? Bathroom was clean but a little small. Shower head was clean, shower stall was dark since there was no light overhead but it was nice and not dirty. Bed was a little on the soft side but I survived...I like it a little firmer. Sheets were soft though so that made up for it. I liked the room as it was pretty bright.
What I didn't like was the reception desk. The staff were great but there was a long line for two people to take care of. There was someone at the Bell desk and special guest lines but after a long wait, they finally got one more person to assist. Not good when check-in is at 3p and we got there at 2p. We didn't finish till 3p! Come on! Grr
Hotel is nice but not sure I want to stay here again. I would rather go to MGM for the same price....
