I was recommended to see Dr. Fuentes at Dewey by my mom who brought her 13 year old Pomeranian to get checked on for a bad cough. She had a wonderful experience. My 3 year old Pomeranian was having some eye issues so I called and they were able to get me in the morning of the next day, but as I've had trouble finding a great vet, I waited an extra day so I could go in when Dr. Fuentes was working. I agreed with my mom; he is very friendly, seems to genuinely care about your baby's healthcare, and does a thorough job. Her eyes are all better and he also addressed some other issues I hadn't originally brought her there for. I didn't feel like he was trying to upsell me as some vets do. I also was very impressed to get a call from him personally checking in on Martini (my baby) the next day. And now I just received a nice "welcome to our clinic" card. The little extras like that may not mean much to everybody, but for me, they really show character. I'm very happy to have found a vet I will keep coming back to. Oh, and prices seem reasonable. Vet bills always shock me a tad, but nothing seemed overly expensive. I've definitely gone to more expensive vets.
