  • I bought a 2007 new Elantra GLS there and my brother crashed it. I never had any problems with it and I got it at less than any other dealer in Phoenix. So I went back there for a new 2008. Got it at a decent price, though not as good as the first time. Then, My dashboard started to fade in spots within a year and they refuse to acknowledge that there is anything wrong, They simply state it needs cleaned, and rub the cleaner/oil stuff into it. However, unless it has fresh interior cleaner on it there is noticeable discoloration that is inconsistent. across the dash, and yes I use a visor to protect my interior most the year. In 2011 my radio broke, despite being assured that the additional warranty I bought was bumper to bumper for 100k (Thats what I was told when I bought it), the radio is not covered and they state it will cost me $250 to repair it. Also, twice while I've had my oil change and they were suppose to be doing a multi-point inspection they didn't do the inspection. One item was to check interior lights. When I noticed the inspection sheet stated they had checked them and they were all working, I pointed out the map light was out. They replaced it for free, but I still didn't like the fact they marked it without doing the inspection. (the service manager for these issue is a lady who was very nice but no longer there). The second time I went in my tire pressure light was on (4/12/12). I forgot to mention it to them, and according to them they rotated the tires. By the time I noticed it was still on, I was already home. I went to Discount tire since it was closer and they checked the air and found one tire to be extremely low and filled it up for me and the light went off. I called Hyundai and asked if when they rotate tires if they check the air pressure of the tires. The lady on the phone said they did. I now wonder if they even rotated the tires like they said they did. I also had them transfer me to the service department to the guy who I met that day (Chris) and explained the situation so that if I get a survey in the mail they sometimes send, he would be aware of the issue I was writing about on the survey.
