| - I love walking or riding along the Lakeshore, to get here, the Humber bridge is really nice, it's my thinking spot, has become a love lock spot and offers an amazing view of downtown.
If you keep walking west past the bridge, they've done some amazing landscaping, with trails for walking and biking / blading.
During the summer, there's a huge pool (Sunnyside), beach volleyball league in the evenings, dragon boating and paddle boarding. There's also a couple of playgrounds for the kids and a pizza pizza for keeping your tummy full.
In addition, you can grab some food and a drink at the Sunnyside cafe which was renovated in 2014 and has lots of tables along the boardwalk.
Or if you'd rather do the picnic / bbq thing, there's lot of space for that too but not a lot of picnic tables so byoc(chairs).
March 2015 was the first time I wandered over here in the winter and it was awesome. the water was frozen between the shore and breaking wall, people were walking on it, taking pics etc
