  • I used to be a member of LA Fitness in Monroeville a couple years ago and I was pleased with my experience there. When we moved to Shadyside, I came to LA Fitness in Bakery Square and upgraded my membership. Sales representative told me that Bakery Square location is considered as a signature club, so I was expecting even better experience I got in Monroeville. I forgot to mention that I had to pay for my upgradation about $100. I am a big swim fan and I spend in pool most of my "fitness time". The pool is quite dark because it is located inside the building and there are no windows. I do not have a car yet and I have to get to LA Fitness by walking. It takes for about 20 minutes and I do not take my home towel cause I don`t want to overweight my bag. Couple weeks ago I came to the club on Sunday and found that they were out of towels. No towels at all. And reception guy had no idea when they will get towels. "A signature club". Towels is only one thing that makes this location different. And they failed it. I had to back home wasting my time. Last week I walked to the club and found that pool is out of order and, of course, they had no idea when it opens again. I am very dissapointed with Bakery Square "signature" location.
