Here's the deal, I've been going to Mama Ricotta's for over a year. My family has celebrated many birthday dinners here. Why? Because the food truly is outstanding! Now over this past year I have constantly found that that great food is not enough for my to want to be a frequent customer. The service leaves something to be desired to say the least. Just tonight I felt like I should be honored that I could dine at MC's and not the other way around. I'm not looking for a 5 star experience but I am looking to be treated like a customer and not another transaction. My wife and I are pretty easy going as we both worked food service during college. Even tonight when the service was bad we still tip 20%. As we left the hostess couldn't even be bothered to look up from her phone to say have a good evening... instead she mumbled it to the stack of menus. I will continue to visit because I do enjoy the food but I think it terms of customer experience a local chick fil a has them beat x10. This is not the first time my family has felt like this after eating at Mama Ricotta's but I thought it was time to say something. Oh and it was weird that our waitress sat the tea pitcher on the ground near my table and left it sitting there unroll another table asked for a refill... just seems unsanitary.
If your looking for great food it's here as long as you are ok with just being another transaction. For me it just means we don't visit as often and are on the look out for a replacement.
