  • Birkdale Village shopping is a wonderful place to take a family. Good luck renting an apartment there. Understandably the apartments are in high demand, however, the rental office employees are the most rude indifferent people you will ever deal with. I spent 15 minutes there without an eye glance at me or hello. They acknowledged another couple who arrived ten minutes after my wife and I did and were going to help them first, and even then wouldn't acknowledge me until I said something. I wasn't looking to rent, my parents who live out of state wanted to rent an apartment and I live within walking distance to the office. I'm just glad I don't rent, good luck getting service from them if you get in the door. I was dressed presentably and understood they were with clients while I waited. However, for front office employees a "hello" and "we will be with you in a few minutes" would have been what a competent employee is capable of.
