There was a last minute headliner cancellation and Heather Melton of MaxxMusic Events and Gregg McCraw of Neighborhood Theatre were both very rude about offering any refunds. Additionally, the venue charged $3 for water (no tap option) and all their employees seemed unhappy or aggressive. I was using the restroom when one of their employees looked into my stall (no apologies) through the crack. When we accidentally bumped into one of their security guards, he gruffly told us to move. Mind you, we had just paid extra for vip entry (where anyone seemed to be able to straggle in). Another employee had spilled a bucket of ice in between the restroom and bar area and little was being done to clear it away. We also witnessed an employee take a flask from a patron and throw in into the pavement where the liquor flew everywhere, some even on the party I was with. I get that you should pay for bar drinks but really think that making such a spectacle about it was pretty unnecessary. All in all, there are better venues out there and they treat their patrons like shit. Despite the last minute cancellation, I would be happy to support the venue but their atrocious bedside manner leaves little to be desired.
