  • This site is so cool! Thete's a little welcome center/gallery/gift shop we walk through to get out and onto the trail. This is a lava field. The brochure gives brief information on each site, things to look for & thought provoking questions. Rattlesnake signs everywhere. So pay attention. Rattlesnakes sound like a lawn sprinkler. The petraglyphs were amazing and so many. It was so exciting to see the images and read about them. It was a fun activity. Towards the end of the trail was a meditative garden that was pretty cool.
