  • At this point it's more of a 2.5 but I'm on the fence as I have not decided whether or not I will use this company. These other reviews have me a little concerned honestly. I want to have a security gate installed for my front door. I contacted Olson Iron last week and set up an appointment. My appointment time was 10 am. Angel was a little late but he called and let me know he was on his way. He measured, showed me the category on line of the inexpensive gates. At around $1000, I'm not sure that qualifies as inexpensive but it includes paint and install. To clarify I am just wanting a regular single door but the door is 8 feet which is forcing me to look beyond the usual warehouse stores. Angel said turn around is about 3 weeks. He also told me some info on HOAs and security gates rules that may or may not be true. I mentioned a couple of competitors but according to Angel the work would be shoddy and their gates are custom made. The designs online for what I'm looking for are the same designs I see at Home Depot and Lowe's but I understand his job is to sell and get me to sign a contract that day. In that regard I am not a fan of the company policy of if you don't purchase that day you are charged and additional $75..
