  • We stopped here for lunch today on our way home from outlet shopping. My mom had heard about it and so we decided to try it. Obviously lots of regulars as they all seemed to be known by the waitresses. It several minutes before we even got water and when our waitress did bring water she was less than friendly. No greeting and no offer to ask if we had questions or to tell us about the specials. I ordered a BLT and the bread was barely toasted. It came with a bag of Lays potato chips. My mom had the chicken salad over fruit and the fruit was not very good. Also came with a muffin which turned out to be Mini muffin. We then ordered the dessert special which was an apple dumpling and recommended by the waitress. It was okay but a little burnt! Lots of clutter and junky stuff as part of decor. Needless to say we won't travel to Glendale again to eat there but the locals will likely keep the place in business!
