  • I walked by Dark Horse on one of my first days in Toronto, and it was so pretty that I immediately put it on my list of must-visit places. Made it in for the first time yesterday, and I definitely wasn't disappointed! The Earl Grey tea was delicious and made in one of those cute glass mini-bodums. And only $2 for a good amount of delicious, loose-leaf tea...I love it when I find places like that. I found the big tables to be quite nice - everyone realizes it's a bit odd, but mostly they're there because they like it. So it's fine, and it feels nice not to isolate yourself in a corner sometimes! There were also smaller tables up in a mezzanine, I believe. I'll check that out next time.
