rev:text	Having already seen most of the notable shows in Las Vegas, I was excited that there was something new for my most recent trip to Sin City. I LOVED Spiegelworld's other production, Absinthe. So even though I had no idea what Opium was about, I went to the show with a certain level of expectation. First of all, I think it's important to to mention that this show is NOT suitable for children or even the easily offended. I'm not sure if they mention that in the ticketing process, but just be advised that there's a lot of crude humor and adult content. Secondly, while there were moments of the show that were amusing or witty, there were also a lot of moments where I found myself thinking "WTF is this?" I am assuming that they are still working on the plot and storyline of this show because there were parts that definitely seemed out of place, even for the zany humor that they were trying to portray. If there is anything of quality that I can vouch for this show, it would be the music. They play some great covers and their house band jams to funky beats throughout the whole performance. My husband LOVED the show, whereas I wasn't too impressed. Overall, I think it's worth seeing at least once, just to say that you've seen it. Unless you are someone who NEEDS to be up close and personal, I suggest getting seats in rows D, F, & H. These seats are more like cushioned seats that you'd find in a booth whereas the ringside seats are folding chairs (AA, A, B, C). Also, the half circle set up technically gives any seat in the house a decent view. We sat in the 400 section and was able to see everything just fine.
