  • Would have given it a 5 star but due to IMS taking over i can not honestly give it one. I love this doctor and the others in this practice front office staff used to be awesome along with the medical assistants.. However since IMS (integrated Medical Services) CEO/President Dr. John Dover MD took over.... the practice has gone down the tubes! Doctors are still awesome but now you are on a major time restraint and assistants say well you can't discuss that cause your apt is only 15 min and yet when the apt was made it was suppose to be 30 min. Like others have said sometimes there are long waits and yet if you are more than 15 min late for the apt they cancel you and you have to reschedule yet you can get there on time and you have to wait easily 30 min- 45 min before seeing the doc. I think this has to do with them overbooking and hoping you are late and then they can cancel the apt and hope to catch up on patients JMO about that. With that said it's difficult to get referrals on time and get outside medical necessary doctors and labs that are conveniently located near you and competent doctors. The office practice is geared towards the practice of you are a number to us and we want to make as much off you as possible so they send you to IMS practices and doctors regardless of location and the doctors experience and rating. Many times they try to send me to doctors that are way west and/or are North West of me and a good hour away. You need to come with the specialist doctor/other service places that you want and can perform what you need in hand. I had a few times where I needed a specialist and when I called to schedule they say the doctor doesn't handle that part of the body or we don't take your insurance.i always do my research first so I have an option of who I want to see. Again IMS has made these changes and I guess that's what you get with a practice that is a corporation now. As for PA's and nurses I would not recommend Mario he's worse than most doctors who have the attitude of I'm God yet anything I asked he had no clue about and his bedside manner sucks! Since IMS took over they pretty much got rid of all the old staff who were very friendly and took their time to answer questions or at least researched and let you know in a timely fashion. Now the new front office staff IMS hired have no time to answer questions or say I'll send the message and yet it does not get done and several days at times a week or 2 weeks later to find out it was not done. If you call the office to schedule an apt or ask questions you get put in a Que and it takes minimum of 8 min to talk to someone and most of the time it's about 15 min been known to be on hold at least 20 min. When you finally get someone they are quick to dismiss you as well or to put you thru to the assistants and you have to leave a message and you don't hear from them most of the time for a day or 2 if your lucky they'll call you at the end of the day and the doctor is gone by then a lot of time. Still love the doctors but most of the doctors' assistants that are new hired by IMS are not very competent and don't seem to care. With all this said I have seriously been thinking of walking if it wasn't for Dr. DRURY. I have voiced my concerns and frustrations and I get to hear please give us a chance we are working on it and hope to get some changes. Well it's been about 1 1/2 years now and still nothing has changed. How long should a patient wait for things to change? I think myself and others have waited long enough.
