  • We've seen two movies here in the last few weeks. The positives? During the Summer, adult matinee prices are only $7 and children are $5.50. That's not bad for new releases. They have a lot of movie times for the movies you want to see. They seem to keep the movies a little longer than AMC, so you don't have to wait until they're on DVD if you missed them the first month. The negatives? Parking is a nightmare because it is at the mall and is located near Kona Grill and Buffalo Wild Wings, which tend to get a lot of traffic. The seats do not recline even a little... and they are therefore less comfortable. The front rows of seats (you know, the ones you have to sit in when the rest of the place is packed) don't allow you to put your arm rest up for snuggling up with your kiddo or your significant other. I am not sure if this is the same with ALL the seats or not. Overall, I'd come here again if they were playing something I wanted to see at a time that worked for me. I still prefer AMC 24 in Ahwatukee, but this Harkins is a suitable alternative.
