I think that I need to try here a few more times before I can truly form my opinion about this restaurant. We came on a weekday and the service was very very fast. They do have mixed drinks and alcoholic beverages available for purchase, along with their juices. The menu was a little overwhelming for me and so I just went with a pre-fabricated bowl of the spicy tuna. I kind of wished that I knew what I was getting into and I would have probably made my own. I would have liked to see more vegetables or something else in the dish other than the tuna and some of the jalapenos. If I did make my own I would have been able to add more of the things that I would have liked. But that's what I've learned for the next time that I go.
I will say that those soba noodles were delicious. I am really happy that I picked those instead of the rice because I feel like I gave more texture and taste to the entire dish. The tuna was good but it is not tuna chunks it's more ground up and that was not something that I was prepared for. I really thought that it would be tuna chunks that were just marinated in a spicy sauce not a type of like tuna fish but not really type salad. The flavor is really good when it just needed something more. Probably vegetables.
I want to come back here and try it again and this time decide what I want before I actually get into line. This might make it easier for me to get the vegetables and the right protein that I want. I think that it's a fun place and beautiful inside, I prefer and love to sit at the window to people-watch, of course. But the rest of the seating inside is kind of hit-or-miss. It's not huge so if you're looking to sit down just hope it's not busy.
Try it out and see what you think and tell me what type of bowls are your favorite.
