  • First of all I would not be writing this review if I had received a phone call back about my experience. I believe in allowing a business to make things right before airing complaints publicly, however, I called twice and spoke to Brandon about the experience and was promised a call back which I never got. That's been about 4 weeks ago now. I had 3 movers, 2 of which were completely useless. One of the guys was great and very professional, but he was babysitting the other two. I couldn't believe how many times he had to stop what he was doing to tell the others to stop watching videos on their phone or to stop standing around. I even heard him say "we don't want to get a bad review" but that really didn't seem to have any effect. On the way to the new residence, they said they would take a 30 minute lunch break which would be deducted from the bill. He said they would probably just pick something up and eat on the way over. When we got to my new residence, one of the workers used my microwave to heat up a frozen meal and then went out and sat in the truck to eat it while on the clock! They also drank my sodas which I allowed and would have offered anyway but at this point I felt like I was entertaining two houseguests while me and the other guy worked. There was absolutely no sense of urgency to get the job done. There was SO MUCH standing around going on. I also work by the hour and I would never get away with dragging my feet like that! As if that wasn't enough to make the experience terrible, I was also I was asked, "are you married?" and "Have you ever considered modeling?" which made me uncomfortable and feel threatened because of the fact that I was alone with 3 men in my house. It took about 3 hours longer than the SAME move took last year with one less person. When I moved last year I couldn't rave enough about Two Men and a Truck- they were fast and efficient and beyond professional . They were booked, otherwise I would have used them again. I would have complained about the price before I paid, but again, I was at a disadvantage being a female alone with 3 men in possession of my things (and they know where I live) and I didn't know how to go about challenging the situation. Pretty good gig, huh? I paid some guys to come hang out at my house and for some very low key sexual assault. I called the office immediately after they left, and then again the next week. I reported all of the above with the promise of a returned phone call. Ultimately I would have appreciated a partial refund, but I also would have been happy with some sort of credit or even an apology.
