I recently went here for a birthday dinner. We arrived around 5PM and the restaurant was only maybe 1/3 full.
We decided to order the Gangnam special for 4 people. The meal included salad, raw oysters, shishito peppers, corn, mushrooms, miso soup, several kinds of meat, and bulgogi bibimbop. There was also the standard kimchi and other appetizers you get at almost every Korean restaurant. We were there for Happy Hour so we also got a pitcher of beer for half-off.
Overall, everything tasted fairly standard to me. Nothing really stood out as amazing. I felt the salad lacked much flavor at all and the miso was just standard miso. The bibimbap had no chili paste or veggies and was pre-made when it arrived. It was more like just straight Korea style fried rice with some bulgogi inside.
I guess having been to Korea, nothing ever is quite the same; however, I have had other places that are much better than Gangnam.
My biggest issue with the place was the speed in which they serve you. It was way too fast! Within minutes of ordering you have everything you ordered on the table. We didn't have time to finish a single appetizer before the next thing came out. At one point our table was so full there was literally zero room for anything else. I really felt like they were just trying to rush us out.
I have to say that I don't think I will return here next time I am in Vegas.
