This hospital is lacking in compassion and care. I came to the emergency room around 11pm after an incident. The front desk staff was stoic and bland. The waiting area was relatively clean. The nurse who took my blood pressure was seemingly decent. However, I was never seen by the doctor on call. He sent his Nurse Practitioner to review a possible concussion. I was told my insurance would be charged by both the hospital and Doctor. Seems scammish. Especially since I WAS NOT SEEN BY THE DOCTOR ON CALL. The other nurses were somewhat compassionate, especially one nurse with the homeless lady. But still a one star visit. If you can make it, go to Banner Good Samaritan on McDowell and 12th St.
