  • There are so many great shows in Vegas, but I must say this is not one of them. My husband and I were super disappointed by this show. We sprung for the RIP tickets, which are one step above VIP, and ended up receiving none of the benefits of the RIP tickets, except for the pre-paid drinks. The Show: We thought that "Marriage Can Be Murder" might have something to do with marriage, but by the end of the show we still hadn't figured out the connection. There were 3 or 4 actors sitting with the audience and 2 or 3 actors walking around the tables using a microphone. The show included a few good jokes, and the actors did a good job of incorporating some of the audience members, but unfortunately they completely skipped involving the two of us. The RIP tickets specifically state that they involve the ticket holders in the show, and we were given wristbands for this, but it never happened. To be honest, I'm not sure that would have made the show any better for us. By the time the show was coming to a close the storyline was still unclear and the "murder" and "motive" unknown to us. There was no "ah-ha!" moment. The actors revealed a final clue and then started thanking everyone for coming. We left completely bewildered and disappointed. I would not recommend this show. The Food: We've had better meals from the freezer aisle. Unfortunately the food was extremely bland and boring. My husband got the chicken and I went with the beef, both of which were served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The disappointing thing is that we've had tastier meals from places like Denny's. Break out the garlic, salt and pepper! The Atmosphere: Perhaps we had our hopes up because it's a show in Las Vegas, but the atmosphere wasn't at all fun. It felt like bingo night at a senior center. The tables were covered in cheap table cloths and everyone was seated together at long tables in rows that reminded us of a high school lunch room. The crowd was almost entirely 50+ years old, with the exception of my husband and I and a few teenagers that had been dragged along by their families.
